The OU Environmental Club
The Sierra Student Coalition is a collaboration of students educating the Ohio University and Athens community about the environmental issues we are facing today. We host fun events to raise awareness about important issues such as Mountaintop Removal coal mining and to raise money for those fighting against it and Big Coal. Last year we participated in the nationwide, non-partisan campaign Power Vote, a movement to engage one million young voters to use their voices to protect and preserve planet Earth and create a sustainable future. We are always welcoming new members and hope to see you at our next meeting!
